Talk about tragedies, my friend, Tanya Stephens. who recently lost her daughter to a violent crime just had her whole home burn down. She had insurance previously, but had changed car payments and was gonna switch the trailer to a different company, but didn’t get it done yet and then this fire happened.
Red Cross gave a little bit of help, about $600, in a toothbrush and a blanket. I’ve tried to help them as much as I can, but I wanted to reach out to the public and to friends and family. Anyone who would pitch in and help them. They are cleaning it out right now and trying to rebuild, and her boyfriend feels like he can do the work they’ve already started, but they need funding. So whatever you can do, whatever’s on your heart, just know it’s for a good cause for good people. I know they would be extremely grateful.
They didn’t ask me to set this up, but I thought it would be the best way to try to raise some money for them. She lost everything in the fire. One of the firemen went in and got her daughter’s ashes that were in an urn. Of all the things that she lost, that’s what she was most concerned about.
There are people that don’t ask others for help. They just try to do everything on their own, so I really pray that the community will support them. Thank you in advance for anything you can do to help them.
