I lost my husband after 37 years together. We met when I was just 17 and he was 21, and he worked hard all his life to provide for me and our kids. When he became sick with a chronic lung disease, we spent everything we had on his hospital bills and medicine, hoping for more time together. In the end, he passed away in my arms, and I was left with nothing. The pain of losing him was overwhelming, and the financial burden left me with nowhere to go except outside, with nothing left to live on or eat.

Now, I am homeless and struggling every day just to find a safe place to sleep and enough food to get by. I am tired of being hungry and scared, and I am reaching out for help because I have nowhere else to turn.
