Our family is going through one of the hardest moments of our lives, and asking for help is not easy. We hired a moving company, Howard’s Van Line, trusting them to safely move our belongings and everything we had worked so hard for. Instead, our family lost nearly everything. Our possessions — clothes, furniture, toys, personal items, and the things that made our house feel like home — were taken from us.

Since this happened, I’ve exhausted every option I can think of. I’ve filed complaints, pursued legal action, contacted news outlets, and even opened reports with multiple agencies, trying to get answers and recover what was taken. So far, we are still left without our belongings and without a resolution.

We are parents of two small children, and right now our babies are sleeping on the floor. We have little to no clothing, no toys for them, and are trying to rebuild our lives from almost nothing. It feels like everything we had was suddenly ripped away overnight.

We are asking for help to raise funds so we can begin replacing basic necessities and create some stability for our children during this incredibly difficult time.
