As you may be aware, Jamaica has recently experienced the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa. My family's home has sustained significant damage, including the complete loss of its roof. Additionally, our family-owned restaurant and shop have been damaged and are currently closed, resulting in a loss of income. The lack of access to water and electricity further exacerbates the challenges faced by my mother, sister, and her two children, who are currently without a home or any source of financial support.
