Rebuild Westmoreland — One Family at a Time
A Community Relief Initiative by the Albert George Loney Foundation
Namaste, My Community
I am Christopher Loney, a proud Jamaican Canadian from Toronto, Ontario, and the President of the Albert George Loney Foundation.
To many, I am known as the Honey Guru, a name that carries my belief that healing and love are like honey: sweet, natural, and meant to be shared.
I was born and raised in the heart of Shrewsbury Housing Scheme, Petersfield, Westmoreland, Jamaica, a place that taught me the true meaning of love, unity, and hard work.
That little community helped shape who I am today. It’s where I learned to serve, to care, and to build from the ground up.
Today, that same community is hurting deeply.
Why I’m Doing This
Recently, Hurricane Melissa swept through Westmoreland, devastating my hometown and leaving families with nothing but memories of what once was. Houses were torn apart. Belongings washed away.
The land that raised me, the homes of my friends, neighbours, and elders, now lie in ruins. When I saw the destruction, I couldn’t sit still. I knew I had to act, not as a businessman, but as a son of that soil.
That’s why, through my foundation and our partners, I launched the initiative.

We’ve come together with one mission to restore hope, dignity, and stability to families in Shrewsbury, Westmoreland.
Our goal is to adopt one family at a time and provide them with everything they need to start again.
Essential food supplies
Hygiene kits and household items
Clothing and comfort items
Each care package will be packed into a crate and shipped directly to Jamaica, where it will reach families who’ve lost everything. Every crate represents one family’s new beginning, their chance to rebuild, recover, and rise again.
This mission is not only about material support. We are also creating a safe space for mental wellness and emotional healing. We’ll provide counselling and mental health services to help families reconnect the Mind, Body, and Soul, the true foundation for rebuilding a stronger community.
