If you've ever strolled down High Street Northcote, you have probably noticed, or even sat upon the NUC outdoor stage, affectionately known as "the Chalice". This much loved community structure sits proudly in the heart of High Street, outside the Uniting Church, and has long been a place for locals to gather perform, celebrate or simply soak up the sun.

Over the years, the Chalice outdoor stage has hosted Christmas celebrations, community performances, local music, and spontaneous moments of connection.

It's more than a stage, it's a meeting place, a resting point, and a small symbol of the creative and welcoming spirit that defines Northcote.

Sadly, the Chalice outdoor stage, along with the Church itself, has fallen into disrepair. What was once a pleasant and vibrant community asset desperately now needs upgrading for Christmas for people to enjoy.

The Northcote Business Association (NBA) is calling on our wonderful community to help us rebuild the Chalice outdoor stage, to create a safe, accessible and beautiful public space once again.

Disclaimer: The Northcote Uniting Church, on who's land the Chalice outdoor stage stands, is unable to contribute to the necessary repairs and improvements. All funds raised through this campaign will be managed by the Northcote Business Association and directed towards the restoration and rebuilding of the Chalice outdoor stage.
