This go fund me is for an invaluable member of our community a Teacher, Coach, & Chef Sierra Mooney. An electrical fire started in the building where she stored everything she has worked so hard for, pertaining to her culinarily business and future home. She received a frantic call from her neighbor that her storage building was engulfed in flames.

She has lost all of her professional / industrial equipment and supplies including charcuterie boards, drink dispensers, chaffing dishes, bowls, plates, food warmers, decorations for weddings, baby showers, graduations.. the list goes on…She has lost tens of thousands of dollars, that has taken her over a decade to accumulate, disintegrated into ash within the hour.

In addition to the items pertaining to her personal business and belongings for her future home, she had memorabilia from our grandfather and keepsakes from her high school and college years, which makes this all the more heartbreaking. She is now left with only memories

Anyone who knows Sierra, knows that she will give the shirt off her back, without question, to anyone in need. In an addition to being a Culinary Teacher at Middleburg High School , Sierra also dedicates countless hours coaching & mentoring young girls to help them reach their full potential in club & high school volleyball. She thrives on seeing each one of them reach their full potential, not only personally but professionally, by helping them build the skills and self confidence that they will carry with them the rest of their lives. Some of them even obtaining scholarships, to foster their college education.

I am now asking that we as a community, ban together, to show up for her the same way she has selflessly shown up for so many others.
