Rebuild & Restore Jamaica — One Family at a Time

My name is Raina Josephs, and I am the founder of The Raina’s Promise, a community-based initiative dedicated to helping families in crisis. I am organizing this fundraiser to provide immediate recovery and rebuilding support for families in Jamaica who are facing damaged homes, missing roofs, and unsafe living conditions.

Many families are still struggling to recover and cannot wait on long processes or paperwork. Help is needed now.

How the funds will be used

All funds raised will go directly toward recovery and rebuilding efforts, including:

• Roofing and home repairs

• Building materials such as zinc, lumber, and cement

• Labor costs for repairs

• Shipping barrels with donated items

• Emergency food and essential supplies

• Support for displaced mothers and children

Transparency & Accountability

To ensure every dollar is used responsibly:

• Funds will be distributed in stages, similar to construction project payments

• Families will provide photo and video updates showing progress

• Regular updates will be shared here so donors can see the impact of their support

This fundraiser is organized personally by me, Raina Josephs, on behalf of The Raina’s Promise, while formal nonprofit paperwork is still being finalized. All funds raised will be used solely for recovery efforts.

I will be working directly with families on the ground in Jamaica to ensure support reaches those who need it most.
