Rebuild & Restore Historic Reformed Presbyterian
Donation protected
On January 12, 2023, Selma, Alabama was hit by an EF2 tornado, causing massive damage and major devastation to the small historic town. A lot of homes and businesses were destroyed and among them was the Historic Reformed Presbyterian Church. The RPC Selma has been a community staple in the historic town of Selma since it was built in 1878, as a place of worship and previously as a preschool/ kindergarten. The church has been deemed a total loss but the members, deacons, and elders are determined to rebuild and restore the historic site in hopes that it will be a continuous place of worship as well as a contribution to the overall revitalization of the City of Selma.
