My name is Nicholas James, and I am from Westmoreland, Jamaica. I grew up in Prospect, where my mother, sister, and many of my close relatives still live.

On October 28th, Hurricane Melissa hit our community hard. Many families, including my own, lost their roofs, belongings, and access to basic supplies. People are struggling to fix their homes and meet even their most simple daily needs.

One of the hardest moments for me was when my uncle said, “Do not come here. There is nothing left for us.” His words broke my heart and made me want to help not just my family but others like him in the community. I started this fundraiser because I wanted to do more than I could on my own. With your help, we can make a real difference.

I am raising money to help families in Prospect, Westmoreland, who were affected by the hurricane. Every donation will go directly to them to repair homes, replace what was lost, and buy food and other important supplies.
