As we all know, it takes a village to raise a child. it takes a huge community to raise orphans. The kids are living in terrible conditions. The one bathroom for 25 kids needs to be torn up and rebuilt. The outside sink is not functional. The outlets need to be updated. There aren't enough mattresses for all the children and the house needs to be emptied out, cleaned, disinfected, repainted and furnished.
The kids of Charisecours Orphanage have been through so much already in their short life. Let's give them a clean and safe home and show them that they are loved. We've been supporting the kids with money from our fashion business. At this point, we really need to step up the efforts and really make the home more sanitary, enjoyable, and a place that feels like home.
The money we raised will be used exclusively to fix the orphanage. Anything over the cost will go to the orphanage in Bibwa (where the older kids live) to fix their home.
I thank you for your help and the kids thank you as well.
