Our family experienced a devastating fire on our property this past year. Our homes were spared by the Grace of Creator. However, my mom’s gardens we’re not.

Gardening is my mother’s creative outlet, not to mention how many meals it fed our family. She has not been able to bring herself to start rebuilding after the damage because her heart is still hurting from the loss. The fire took an outbuilding, her small citrus greenhouse, one large and another medium garden.

Today is her birthday, she’s turning 78! I made this page as an opportunity to give her the gift of growth into her golden years! An opportunity to buy her a plant for her new garden or contribute to building supply costs.

Our family would love to fully rebuild her gardens, but it’s a big task. Hoping to get one small garden functional for her this year. This time in a more sustainable way for her beautiful elder years that lie ahead.
