My name is Thalia, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart to share the tragic loss of someone very dear to my family. On August 7th, in the Dominican Republic, my husband’s beloved aunt, Ana Rosa “Keka” Corniell Castillo, went to be with the Lord after a devastating house fire.

Keka’s sons survived, but the fire took everything they owned — their home, their belongings, and their sense of stability. As they grieve the unbearable loss of their mother, they now face the overwhelming task of starting over from nothing.

We are asking for your prayers and support during this unimaginable time. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping Keka’s family, replace essentials, and begin rebuilding their lives.

Mi nombre es Thalia y me dirijo a ustedes con el corazón lleno de dolor para compartir la trágica pérdida de alguien muy querido para mi familia. El 7 de agosto, en la República Dominicana, la amada tía de mi esposo, Ana Rosa “Keka” Corniell Castillo, partió a estar con el Señor después de un devastador incendio en su hogar.

Los hijos de Keka sobrevivieron, pero el fuego les arrebató todo lo que tenían: su casa, sus pertenencias y su estabilidad. Mientras enfrentan el inmenso dolor de perder a su madre, también deben enfrentar la abrumadora tarea de empezar de nuevo desde cero.

Les pedimos sus oraciones y apoyo en este momento inimaginable. Cada donación, sin importar el tamaño, se destinará directamente a ayudar a la familia de Keka, reemplazar lo esencial y comenzar a reconstruir sus vidas.
