I am raising money for residents that were affected by a fire at 8711 W Villard Ave in Milwaukee WI this weekend. I grew up in this building and have a ton of childhood memories here. My mother called me this morning and told me about the fire, I had to see it for myself. So I drove past this morning, took some pictures, and was flooded with a ton of memories. I feel compelled to help with my personal connection to this building and being a business owner in the neighborhood. I own Quick Wash Laundromats which has a location at 7613 W Villard Ave. I feel it is our duty to help in the community where we are located. The community has been very supportive of us and I feel I this is one of those moments in time where we can make a difference and give back. We at Quick Wash Laundromats will match dollar for dollar any donations up to $5000. Residents affected will need this money to buy furniture, replace clothes, and find a new apartment.
