Rebuild Linda's Home for a Peaceful Retirement

My name is Lynn Noldy. I've lived in Florida for 23 years and have weathered many a hurricane. Not everyone was so lucky.

Hurricane Helene was devastating to a great number of people. My dear friend, Linda McNamee Burk, lived 4 miles inland and was still struck with 1 1/2 feet of water entering her home that she was all set to retire to after 52+ years of nursing.

As a sister, mentor, and beloved fellow nurse, I am heartbroken for her loss. Anything we are able to raise will go to restoring her home so that she may enjoy her very well-deserved retirement.

Her home sustained much water damage to furniture and walls. That means the electrical was almost certainly involved also, though she is still in the investigational aspect of healing.

We can wash the clothes and the towels and linens. Where we need help is with the furniture and walls.
