Rebuild Jamaica's Livelihood After Hurricane Melissa

Donation protected
Hello, I am Kadian Lynch, owner and cook for Taste The Flava (food truck). I am a Jamaican living in Middletown, NY. My team and I are deeply devastated by the damage that Hurricane Melissa has done to our beautiful country of Jamaica. Hurricane Melissa has left thousands of Jamaicans displaced and without basic necessities. We have seen the heart-wrenching videos and photos on social media, and we just cannot sit back and not do anything.

Our mission is to help as many Jamaicans as possible to rebuild and get back on their feet. We aim to assist small business owners who have lost livestock, inventory, crops, etc., to rebuild their businesses. After they have rebuilt their homes and community, they will need a source of income to continue on the path of survival, so we believe that giving them the means to create an income is a good option.

All funds raised will be used to:
1) Purchase livestocks (chickens, goats, pigs etc)
2) Materials to rebuild the shelter for the animals.
3) Feeding for the animals and other necessary essentials.
4) Produce and goods that has been damaged in the hurricane.
6) Building materials to re-build stores

Jamaicans are hardworking people, and with a little help, they can do great things.

Your help, whether big or small, can really help make this mission a reality. The people of Jamaica need us now more than ever.
