Huntdale Union Church was founded and built in 1934 for all denominations of Christian faith to worship. Articles of Faith and Organization are all based on the Holy Bible King James Version. The Church has about 60 members of which 30 are youth. We are located in a very rural community at 943 Huntdale Road, Green Mountain, NC. On September 27th the Church was completely washed away in the hurricane by the Nolichucky River with nothing remaining. Three families in our Church also lost their homes. For the work of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ and our community, we and trying to purchase land and rebuild. Our Church is seeking your prayers and financial support. We had insurance but it does not cover flood. So a total loss. Any amount would be greatly appreciated from the bottom of our hearts. In the event we cannot secure adequate funds to rebuild, all donations will be distributed to the 3 families that lost their homes and everything. May God bless you all.
