I am making this go fund me, because I know it takes a village to help. I have seen this with my own eyes several times within my little circle. This was my sister and her fiancé's home. It was not their summer home like some families in that area.

My sister Johnna and her fiancé Tony lost their home during the recent flooding. The amount of rainfall and flooding that occurred caused significant structural damage. The ground literally moved causing their basement to detach from the home and start sliding down the hill. The main floor then collapsed into the basement. The ground is still moving causing their home to slide down even further towards the lake. This is the only place they call home, unlike other families in the area who use for just summer months.

They have insurance; however, it does not cover landslides. They are trying to decide whether to rebuild or to move to another area. They were able to get some things out before it started to collapse and put into storage units. They are very fortunate that everyone in their area were able to leave unharmed.

The aftermath of all this has left them picking through rubble and lots of mud. The home has now been condemned. They are no longer able to go inside to get any more of their belongings. They will need a lot of basic items.

Also, If you know of anyone hiring in the Clark County, Floyd County area please let me know. My sister is looking to work up here since the commute to her place is 2 hours away.

Her Fiancé is a disabled vet who drives a truck during the week.
