Rebuild Hope for the Morgan Family

Hello, we are the Morgan family. My name is Cameron, and my wife Hannah and I have been together for 17 years. We have two beautiful children, Naomie and Dean, who are the most respectful and loving kids I could have ever asked for. We have strived to lead a life close to the American dream, with land to call our own and a house that our children could grow up in.

Our house was decimated by Hurricane Helene on September 27th. I work third shift, and my wife works at the Henderson County transfer station. When I woke up on September 26th and saw how high the water had risen, I panicked. The kids were able to get a bag of clothes each, and my wife and I were able to pack one bag together before we had to leave and abandon our family’s home.

The morning of September 28th, we made our way back to our home to see the damage caused by Helene, and to our shock, we discovered from our neighbors that the entire house was underwater. My wife and kids broke down. I’ve told them to have faith and trust in the process when it comes to these things. We’ve done what you are supposed to do, meet with FEMA and homeowners insurance, but at this point, we have been approved for $159 for clothing costs for a family of 4. After losing our entire home and all the memories from the past decade, I was devastated. So, swallowing my pride, I decided to start this GoFundMe to see if we could get some help in our time of need.
