Help Get the Kanaka’ole Family Back On Their Feet

I am writing this as one of Colettes closest friends. To say she is one of the most generous, caring friends would be an understatement. Garrett and Colette have poured into so many people over the years in the Malibu community, and now it’s time we carry them.

The Kanaka’ole family lost everything in the Palisades fire: their whole lives. Their music studio (their livelihood), clothes, documents, their babies toys, baby books… everything is gone.

They have lost not just a home and a sense of community, but cherished items they've collected over the years that can never be replaced.

They are currently displaced, and starting over with just the clothes on their backs. This fund will help cover the essentials as they start to rebuild their lives and look for future housing.
