Give Hope for our mom Linda After Fire tragedy

Dear friends, family and kind strangers,

For Those of you who know our mom Linda, know she’s always been a pillar of strength, love, and generosity—dedicating her life to helping others. But now, she’s facing an unimaginable challenge and needs our support.

This catastrophic fire destroyed her condo, taking with it everything she’s ever had. From sentimental treasures to everyday necessities, it’s all gone. To make matters worse, her INSURANCE CANCELED HER POLICY BEFORE THE FIRES, citing unreasonable demands to replace all her plumbing. It’s unfair and cruel timing. And now we also found out she has to keep paying her mortgage and her HOA's!

When the fire broke out, she grabbed her passport and rushed to get her grand-daughter Nina from her Waldorf school down the street (it too burned completely to the ground) thinking it was just another evacuation—like the other three times she had to leave due to threats of fire. But this time was heartbreakingly different.

This time, she’s lost everything.

Our mom is not only the most loving mother and grandmother but a truly extraordinary person with a heart full of compassion. She has devoted her life to lifting others—caring for abused children, inspiring and empowering women, supporting orphans, teaching children, and volunteering tirelessly for causes close to her heart. She’s the kind of person who helps anyone in need, even when it means sacrificing her own comfort—even when kindness wasn’t always returned. Her love and selflessness have touched countless lives, and her compassion is truly boundless.

I know my mom would never ask for help herself—she’d want it to go to someone else (knowing her she’ll probably share this with others). But it’s time for her to receive the love and support she has so freely given to others throughout her life.
