On August 8th, tragedy struck when John Caton’s home on Rangeley Road in Phillips, Maine, was destroyed by fire. In just a few short hours, a lifetime of memories and belongings were gone. While we are grateful John & Chad are safe, the road ahead is overwhelming.

John’s son, Chad wants to help his dad and asked me to help him set up this GoFundMe page.  We have encouraged John to accept the support being offered by friends, neighbors, and those who care.

We know the costs beyond insurance maybe extensive, but for now we would like to help raise $5,000 toward immediate needs and to begin the long process of recovery. Every dollar given will go directly toward helping John replace essentials.

Whether you are able to give financially or simply share this fundraiser, your kindness and prayers are deeply appreciated.

Thank you for helping John in this time of need. Together, we can show him that he is not alone in this journey of rebuilding.
