My name is Demar, and I’m asking for help for my family in Cambridge, St. James. Hurricane Melissa has turned our world upside down. In just a few terrifying hours, the storm destroyed what took us years of hard work to build.

Our home was badly damaged — the roof is gone, flooding ruined our furniture, clothes, and appliances, and we’re left trying to pick up the pieces with very little to start over. We are grateful to God that we made it through safely, but the truth is, we’ve lost almost everything.

Right now, we’re focusing on getting through each day — finding food, shelter, and a way to rebuild our lives. It’s not easy to ask for help, but we can’t do this alone. Every bit of support, no matter how small, means more than words can say. Your donations will go toward repairing our home, replacing essentials, and helping us recover from this devastating loss.
