I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my mom and stepdad who recently experienced a heartbreaking and life-altering tragedy, a house fire that destroyed her home.

In a matter of moments, they got a phone call at work stating they lost nearly everything: her home, personal belongings, clothing, furniture, and most painfully, her three beloved dogs.

The emotional and financial toll of this disaster is overwhelming, and she’s now faced with the daunting task of starting over from scratch.

My mom is currently a student, working hard to finish her education. Sadly, her computer — essential for her schoolwork — was also lost in the fire. Without it, she can’t complete her exams needed to finish her last semester of college.

This fundraiser is to help with immediate and essential needs as she starts the long journey of healing and rebuilding.

Your donation will help cover:

* Clothing and Shoes lost in the fire (Woman’s Xl/Size 10 in Shoes) (Men’s L/Size 11 in Shoes)

* Basic Essentials toiletries, food, etc

* Replacing her computer and school supplies so she can continue her education

* Food and daily living expenses as she gets back on her feet

* Legal and recovery-related costs as the arson investigation unfolds
