My name is Lee Wheeler, my nephew Braylen insisted on making a go fund me page in order to help his dad out due to his house catching on fire. Below is what he wrote.

Hi, my name is Braylen and I’m 13.

On the morning of June 5th, my dad’s house caught on fire because of an electrical issue in the bathroom. He was still asleep while everything was burning. His girlfriend ran into the smoke, yelling his name because she couldn’t see anything. If she hadn’t gotten him out when she did, he wouldn’t be here. Two of our cats didn’t make it out. We loved them so much and it hurts that they’re gone.

My dad got out with just his phone and wallet. Everything else was lost. Right now, we’re staying with family, but we don’t have much, and this fundraiser is to help us get back on our feet.

This fire changed everything. I’m really thankful my dad made it out, but we’ve been through a lot, and we’re just asking for a little support. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this helps more than you know.
