My name is Gail as most of you know daddy was life flighted to Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL on April 12, 2025. We thought he had food poisoning but it was a perforated bowel. He had 5 surgeries for reconstruction of his gastrointestinal. He lost a big part of his stomach. He has been on the feeding tube since. We are driving 4 hours to see him but we are praying for a transfer closer home. Insurance will cover part of the move but the out of pocket expenses will be $4,300. Along with hotel and food expenses. We are trying to help my mom and dad during this difficult time. He is still in ICU and is a miracle. God has a reason for this and I’m trusting in him. May 28th daddy still can’t keep a lot of food down he’s lost about 15lbs. He is still fighting to get out of bed. Keep praying for the Lord to have his way.
