Rebuild Holiday Lake Estates: Support Carolyn Ellis

Hello, I'm Carolyn Ellis.

I'm raising funds to help rebuild my community. I grew up in Holiday Lake Estates in Goodrich, TX. Our little community consists of mostly older residents. We do have quite a few younger families as well. Many homes were flooded & had to be torn down. This was in April 2024. Then, just a few months later, we had Hurricane Beryl come through and destroy more homes, including my own, which was to be our retirement home. This little community is strong. We have started to rebuild. However, we do not have the funds to repair our pool pump. We do not have the funds to do repairs on our dam. Our children don't have a playground. So many projects and repairs need to be done; unfortunately, we simply don't have the money. FEMA only helped a few people, but it wasn't even enough to get things cleaned up.
