Rebuild Fernando's Tacos: Help Lourdes and Fernando

On August 21, 2025, our parents, Lourdes and Fernando, were working in their taco truck, Fernando’s Tacos, when their lives changed in an instant. A drunk driver crashed into both their pickup truck and the taco truck, sending them to the hospital and completely destroying their business and only source of income.

Thankfully, both of our parents survived and are now recovering from their injuries. We are beyond grateful for that blessing. But the road ahead is overwhelming — between medical bills, the loss of their vehicles, and not being able to work, our family is facing a huge financial burden.

We, their kids, are creating this fundraiser to support them while they heal and work toward rebuilding Fernando’s Tacos. Every donation will go directly toward:

Covering our parents’ medical and recovery costs

Rebuilding Fernando’s Tacos and replacing essential equipment

Helping with daily expenses while they cannot work

Our parents have poured their hearts into their business and community for years. They are some of the hardest-working, most generous people we know, and it’s so hard to see them go through this.
