Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals,

As many of you may know, my Aunt Gloria’s home was tragically destroyed in the devastating Altadena fires this past January. The house, which she and her family have called home for over 50 years, has seen five generations grow, laugh, and build memories within its walls. The loss is immeasurable, and while she is safe, the emotional and financial toll of rebuilding is overwhelming.

Aunt Gloria has dedicated her life to others. For 37 years, she served as a devoted teacher and administrator for the Pasadena Unified School District, impacting countless students and families. She retired in 2009, only to continue her mission by becoming a teacher specialist at LMU, where she helped special education teachers earn their credentials. Her commitment to education didn’t stop there—she’s always been a tireless advocate for the special education community, giving her heart and soul to make sure every student had the opportunity to succeed.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Aunt Gloria has always been a dedicated member of the First AME Church in Pasadena, an active community advocate, and a steadfast supporter of those in need.

Today, we turn to you for support as Aunt Gloria faces the daunting challenge of rebuilding. We are seeking donations to help her recover and rebuild the home where five generations have lived, loved, and learned.
