Rebuild Art Fund for Cascade Locks Students

We were burglarized Sunday night. They snuck in through a window, then stole the cash till and a bunch of candy. What bugs me most is that in the cash register was the cash we collect to buy art supplies for the Cascade Locks Elementary School kids every year (everything from pencils and pompoms to paint and canvas). What was in the till wasn't going to break the bank, but it was our best start so far, by far.

To me, those dollars mean more than their face value. They mean our kids get to be creative. They get to use their minds. They get to make art to bring home to their families. They get to have fun. And now we have to restart from $0 for next year's art purchases.
