Rebuild Alicia Rodriguez's Home with Love

Alicia Rodriguez lost the home she built by hand. As a widow at the age of 40, she not only had to come up with a way to raise her children, find a home, build it, and find a source of income to provide for them. The ways of raising her children was selling hard boiled eggs, and chilate (typical Guerro drink). Once she was able to find land, she hand built a wooded home and attended alongside with her children to soldiers to get income. With that money she was able to accumulate she then was able to build what was now her home in Cuajinicuilapa, Guerrero. She’s lived there for 67 years and she is now 89 and had to see her home be destroyed.

Due to Hurricane Erick on June 19th, 2025, it had been landfall Category 4. Not only was Alicia Rodriguez one of homes affected but there were hundred thousands of individuals and families affected; which is roughly 80% of the population already.

Alicia Rodriguez is asking for a generous $2,000 in donations to rebuild her home, it might not be the home where all her children and family members passed their times in; but it’s definitely a home that’ll be filled with love, people, family, and more to come memories.

I’m one of her grandchildren that runs this gofundme, and I will give personally the money to her so she can spend it on materials for her home!

Anything does help! Please share to anyone. Thank you for hearing Alicia’s story and may God bless you all.
