Rebuild After Fire: Aunt and Uncle in Need

My name is Courtney Barron, and I created this fundraiser for my aunt and uncle who have experienced a devastating fire in their home. Last night, 1/20/2025, around 11:30, I got a call from my aunt, heartbroken and in shock. She said their house was engulfed in flames. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan saw the fire and alerted them just in time, but they lost everything in the blaze, including their beloved dog of 10 years and their cat, who tragically died from smoke inhalation.

All they have left is the sweatshirt my aunt was able to grab, thanks to the man who helped them escape. They’ve lost their home, their belongings, and their pets, and now they need our support. Funds raised will go towards temporary housing, clothing, and replacing basic essentials.

If you’re able to help, any amount will be deeply appreciated. Your prayers are also needed as they begin to rebuild their lives. The fire occurred in Blount County, Alabama, on Hwy 26.
