This month, I’m running 100km to fund a Community Development project in Ghana, delivering locally-led education, healthcare and equality workshops for lasting change.
On 12th September, I’ll travel to Kokrobite to work with NGOs and community leaders on projects that build long-term self-sufficiency, meeting UN Sustainable Development Goals and building on initiatives introduced in the pandemic, like menstrual health programmes, vocational training and teacher support.
It costs £400 per week to run workshops in computing, English and business; provide arts and music tutoring; and support community needs assessments and awareness campaigns. I’ll also complete 240 hours of field work to strengthen partnerships and ensure the impact lasts.
My 100km challenge is a huge personal milestone, after spending two years in rehabilitation from foot surgery.
Every donation goes directly to the programme - not my personal costs (flights, visas, medicals). Thank you so much for your generosity and support x
