We are Rebecca Leech (daughter of the Mayor of Barnsley) and Ben Grayling (the Mayor's Cadet), and we’ve decided to take on the ultimate challenge to give back to our amazing community.

On the 8th April, we will be stepping out of our comfort zones—and out of a perfectly good airplane—to complete a charity parachute jump!

Why We Are Jumping

While we are definitely feeling the nerves, we are doing this for a fantastic cause. All the money we raise will go directly to the Mayor of Barnsley’s Charities.

These charities do incredible, vital work right here in our local community, supporting vulnerable people and funding important local initiatives.

As the Mayor's daughter and the Mayor's Cadet, we get to see first hand how much this support means to the people of Barnsley, and we wanted to do something big to help.
