As a lot of you already know, our lovely Becs has been through a very tough year!

She has completed a very gruelling 7 months of intensive chemotherapy and is due to start intensive radiotherapy next week for a solid 6 weeks. You got this Becs.

She has also had to travel home unexpectedly due to a significant bereavement .

As radiotherapy finishes, unfortunately, so does Becs sick pay. Meaning she will have to return to work without having time to recuperate following treatment. They are trying to extend her sick pay by a month. However, there is no guarantee of this and recovery after this intensity of treatment can take up to 12 months or longer to recover on average.

As Becs lives away with her husband Chris, they don't have the benefits of additional support from the government.

I would love to give both Becs and Chris a little helping hand to relieve some of the financial pressures of life, and to allow Becs the freedom to have longer off if required. Or to come home to see family in the summer, and have a little break away, because no one deserves it more!
