Realization of a Yoga & Meditation Practice Room

Ciao! Mi chiamo Valentina!

Siamo una famiglia di cinque persone, innamorata della natura, dello yoga, della meditazione e di tutte le attività artigianali, come la pittura, la ceramica, il macramè, la cucina e la lavorazione del legno.

Con mio marito Duccio e i nostri figli Elio, Mira e Timo, ci siamo trasferiti in Liguria da poco, alla ricerca di un luogo dove creare una base stabile per la nostra vita e le nostre attività.

Abbiamo trovato una bellissima cascina immersa nel verde, tra il mare di Lerici e le Alpi Apuane, e la stiamo ristrutturando con le nostre forze.

C'è anche uno splendido giardino che ospiterà un orto e alberi da frutto!

I NOSTRI OBIETTIVI:

Una parte dell'edificio era una vecchia falegnameria, che vorremmo riadattare, rendendola una GRANDE SALA per PRATICARE YOGA E MEDITAZIONE.

Vorremmo inoltre:

Ci piacerebbe che la nostra casa diventasse un luogo aperto, per ospitare persone che amano la vita semplice e a contatto con la natura.

Sogniamo che un giorno la nostra casa diventi la sede di un Sangha nella tradizione Thich Nhat Hanh.

La SALA DI PRATICA diventerà il fulcro delle attività, insieme al giardino adiacente, dove sogniamo un piccolo GIARDINO ZEN!

Per rendere la stanza sicura e adatta all'accoglienza delle persone e allo svolgimento delle attività, sono da affrontare alcune opere strutturali, quali:

Un luogo dove coltivare corpo, mente, spirito... e la nostra Madre Terra.

La nostra casa sarà sempre aperta!

PRESENTAZIONE IL GIARDINO

Hello! My name is Valentina!

We are a family of five, in love with nature, yoga, meditation, and all craft activities, such as painting, ceramics, macramé, cooking, and woodworking.

With my husband Duccio and our children Elio, Mira and Timo, we moved to Liguria recently, looking for a place to create a stable base for our life and our activities.

We found a beautiful farmhouse in the countryside, between the sea of Lerici and the Apuan Alps, and we are renovating it with our own strength.

There is also a beautiful garden that will host a vegetable garden and fruit trees!

A part of the building housed an old carpentry, which we would like to readapt, making it a large room for practicing Yoga and Meditation for small groups.

We would like our home to become one day the seat of a Sangha in the Thich Nhat Hanh tradition.

We would like our house to become a place open to host people who love simple life and in contact with nature.

We would like to host craft workshops, as well as carry out activities to enhance the surrounding area, for example with walks and use of local natural resources.

The PRACTICE ROOM will become the hub of the activities, together with the adjacent garden, where we dream of a small ZEN GARDEN!

To make the room safe and suitable for receiving people and carrying out activities, there are some structural works to be faced, such as:

A place to experiment with activities aimed at taking care of time and the well-being of the person in his entirety.

A place to cultivate body, mind, spirit... and our Mother Earth.
