Help Save My Family In Gaza

Hello! We are two Palestinian Siblings from Gaza brother and a sister , my name is Rozan , I live in Russia for studying , and my brother Ibrahim lives in Belgium .

You leave Gaza, but Gaza never leaves you; this is a saying I have been hearing my entire life, I never felt it would be true until I actually lived it. Just like any other family, we survived a lot together and had our happy moments and sad ones, but unlike any other, we also lived through wars and truces. I wish I hugged each one of them harder; I wish I had taken more photos and looked at them again and again. My family is currently living their 177 days of war, of genocide, livestreamed on TV in the twentieth century.

Today, we are reaching out with a heavy heart, asking for your help during the most horrific time my family has ever faced.

Believing now that this is our only option for survival. With constant reflection on the responsibility that I carry, to protect my family.

Living under the constant threat of airstrikes, bombings, and gunfire has become our daily reality. Despite the adversity we face, we are determined to persevere and provide for our loved ones.

We have lived in Libya for almost twenty years. From 1977 to 1994, we returned to Gaza to build our life here in our beloved country, after the Oslo peace agreement, so we left Libya.

my husband was a dedicated engineer working for a prestigious company and receiving a high salary, and we owned our home there and I had my children Rula, Rawad, Ghassan, Lina and Ibrahim, And I was surrounded by friends like no other, they are friends for a whole lifetime, we lived the most beautiful times there, but people by her instinct tends to love her country so my husband and I made a decision to return to our beloved Gaza, put an end to alienation and build a beautiful life for us and our children in Gaza, we are now in Gaza.

A war of extermination is being waged against us by a Nazi occupation, a war in which children, people and the elderly are killed, a war with unequal sides, in which the occupation does not achieve any goals . they wages it against defenseless civilians, because they have a strategy of a land without a people, so it seeks to obtain all the land of Palestine. they don’t want to live in peace, One land in two independent countries. It is a war of ethnic cleansing, genocide and forced displacement.

Gaza has been our home, with all its joys and struggles, but right now, it is a matter of life and death .

We're a big family, of 23 members, and we're struggling to survive:

My sisters: Rola, lina , Dina (they are married )

My brother’s : Rawad, Ghassan (they are married )

my brother’s children : Mohammad 17 years old , Majd 15 y, Aseel 20y , Rita 10y , Ismaeil 5y

My sister Dina’s children: Pilar 3y , Tia new born 5 months

Amidst these hardships, my sister has given birth to a beautiful child, Tia”Despite the dire health conditions—lack of hospitals, inadequate healthcare, and scarcity of essential newborn supplies—we welcomed her with joy, hoping her arrival signifies a new, blessed beginning for us.

All my nieces and nephews are children, i miss them so much it hurts that I can’t hug them while trembling from fear, help them unhear the bombings or unsee the destruction and death scenes they have been through. They should not be in such terror, living on canned food, having multiple episodes of gastroenteritis in one month , My nephews kids are suffering from Hepatitis A due to the completely contaminated water that is not suitable for living that ruined them .

They moved four times so far from the place to others in the south with nothing but their IDs, from living in school to tent without basic life necessities, cooking gas, water, food, electricity or proper sanitary products.

Every time they are running for their lives in looking for safety, but in vain, no place is safe…

Due to poor communication and the internet, my brother Ibrahim and I follow their news on social media channels, trembling every time we open the news to read the latest updates, fearing that their names will pass among the deaths while scrolling. This is another level of horror.

This genocide has taken our house, and our achievements, and hopefully will not take their dreams or the rest of their lives.

My parents carry the biggest burden, mountains on their shoulders and I have to help them! We have lost our sources of income and everything we have.

Dad, my soul , is a Survey engineer , his experience has exceeded its limits, very good and very professional at his job, he retired how many years ago , but he was still working from home , because he loves his work so much that he could not stop even after retirement.

My backbone, my sweetheart Mom , she worked in the General Union of Palestinian women and community work and traveled to attend educational seminars on how to deal with women and guide them in Jordan, and then traveled to Denmark for a course of the Federation of trade unions to educate workers in their field and was a representative of women in the union, then worked with the General Union of Palestinian trade unions as a supervisor of a women's football team, they played with European teams in Oslo, in Norway.

She continued her work in representing women in popular unions till now .

My older sister Rola found her passion in the sea, swimming, diving, rowing, teaching girls in Gaza to swim and overcoming Customs and traditions .

Brother Rawad, opened small projects to support him and his family, the last of which was a simple billiard hall next to the house, where he offers delicious drinks, music, fun evenings with friends playing billiards and watching football matches.

My brother Ghassan is a computer engineer, a lover of his specialty , and his wife Fatima is a teacher of social subjects, History and geography who is very devoted to her work and loves her students very much

My sister Lena studied healthy nutrition, got married after graduating from university , but she did not go to the labor market, despite her love for her specialty , she gave birth to beautiful children so she loved to devote her life to them and be a breadwinner for her beloved husband.

My older brother's daughter Rawad , Aseel, she graduated from high school recently, paid the University premium and started joining the pedal classes at the University and became involved in the environment, she loved it very much and dreamed of excelling , but before the end of the academic year, the war came to dispel this dream

As for the children, Mohammed, Majd, Rita, Amr, Zain and Bana they are studying at school, the war came and destroyed their dreams and ambitions, their maximum wish is to survive death , and play in suitable environments.

MY lovely Qais, Ismail and Pilar are the youngest , they were in kindergarten , preschool, starting their first steps towards their dreams , their dreamy eyes were carrying a lot and a lot, but, there is no place for this innocence in the war …
