We are seeking funds to create a social movement that stands for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion on the Self Love Lounge Podcast
Self Love Lounge needs your help to create a global impact by bringing more guest speakers, creating empowering social events, and more creative and inclusive outlets to represent diversity. This is a One-woman production, and your support will fund the progression of the podcast and cover production costs. Each season of the podcast has bridged a community and a home for many empowering souls. My previous seasons have featured guest speakers from Netflix show Indian Matchmaking contestant Nadia Jagessar, to 90210 Actress AnnaLynne McCord! I am so grateful to see SLL grow but I need your help with keeping up! Donations will also go towards funding studio time, marketing, merchandise, and equipment.
WHY HOST AREENA ANTOINE CREATED SELF LOVE LOUNGE :
I am a UBC student who is extremely passionate about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Growing up as a biracial woman, I never had role models that I could look up to. There was a lack of representation of my racial identities. I never felt Black enough, or Brown enough, or enough in general. My own journey to self-love has been filled with roadblocks that I have had to face on my own. I had to find Self Love within to allow myself to embrace the fact that I will never fit into a single box that society tried to label me. I created the Self Love Lounge Podcast to redefine society by embracing differences and now creating a social movement to fill in the gaps that unwelcome humans like me.

Self Love lounge is a place that stands for diversity, equity and inclusion in our pursuit of self-love. This is a place to learn about, hold space for, and embrace ourselves. Self Love Lounge brings warmth to being comfortable with the uncomfortable. So let's unconditioned our minds together to find love within and forever lead with it.
About our Collective :
Self Love Lounge is a one-woman production with 28 successful episodes that reached 65 countries’ hearts with Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom being the top 3 countries supporting the Podcast. The age range (in percentages) : 6% are 0-17yrs, 34% are 18-22yrs, 30% are 23-27yrs, 14% are 28-34yrs, 7% are 35-44yrs, 6% are 45-59 yrs and 1% are 60+ with 77 % of listeners being women, 19% being men, 3 % not being specified and 1% identifying as other.
