As many of you know, Darren was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in September of 2021. In November of 2021, he underwent surgery to remove most of his femur and knee, in which he was given a prosthetic knee. The doctors believed Darren was clear of cancer. Unfortunately, during Darren's 6 month check, cancer cells were found in his lungs and he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Darren and his family are currently working with a team of doctors to develop his treatment plan, including 2 surgeries and 9 months of chemotherapy.
