We have raised over $1900 from all donations towards my new chair. I put together my initial goal of $1500 in a rush due to the encouragement to get a GofundMe page going. I was quite naive as to what the ultra lightweight wheelchairs sold for. To update, the ultra lightweight chairs lesd than 12 lbs. run $2900 plus. The chair has a base price and then they custom fit it to your size and needs. I didnt realize that the required option choices were extra. This makes the complete chair with tax just over $3800. I am still about $1875 short of what I will need. With those who have already donated, thank you and we are over 1/2 way there.
