StrideMCR Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge!
As part of our second large charity event of the year, members of the Manchester and Salford University Air Squadron (MASUAS) will be partaking in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on the 20th of April! Nineteen courageous Officer Cadets will embark on this challenge to support the Greater Manchester Blood Bikes Charity. The hike itself 24-miles (38.6km) round trip route, and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent. The challenge we have set ourselves is to complete this challenge in under 12 hours!
Greater Manchester Blood Bikes is the sole blood bikes charity serving the Greater Manchester area, dedicated to transporting essential medical supplies including blood, plasma, platelets, samples, vaccines, and donor breast milk to hospitals and healthcare facilities, day or night, even on weekends and holidays. The exceptional volunteers provide this vital service free of charge, allowing the NHS to allocate resources where they are needed most
Your generous donations will play a crucial role in sustaining their operations, ensuring they can continue to provide this essential service. We deeply appreciate any support you can offer.
Thank you for your generosity, and we will be sure to put our best effort into completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge!
