- My little brother Raymond Thompson worked every single day for months, saving so much money so he could finally buy his 1st car. He went to Mini of Knoxville a dealership that claims “it’s the name you can trust” and found his first car and was soo excited! They reassured him the vehicle was in great condition and up to date with services, only for it to be leaking oil 2 days after he brought it home. Took it to the mechanic and it cost $1300 to fix it. He brought it back home only for the service light to go on, he took it back to the mechanic and they said the transmission is going bad which would cost 6k to fix it. It had not even been 2 weeks since he had the car. The entire time the dealership will not answer any calls, voicemails, or emails. I’m creating this GoFundMe in hopes of helping my brother get as much of his money he spent back to purchase a better 1st car elsewhere that’s actually drivable and safe. We are all so incredibly upset and heartbroken that this happened. He didn’t deserve this. Life is already so expensive and so hard, no business should be trying to make it even worse. Anything helps at all, even just sharing or leaving a google review on their business page. Thank you for your love and support of my brother.
