Raydens journey to rise up and walk
Donation protected
Hello: my name is Jacob, and I am raising funds for my son Rayden who was born with Cerebral Palsy. He is 4 years old and just had his second intensive surgery on March 7th, 2024.
Our family is coming on financial hardship as I also had surgery on my arms and going through intensive physical therapy limiting me in caring for my son, a lot of the burden falls on Rayden’s mom Carla. Rayden just had double hip surgery because of his cerebral palsy and will need another surgery in 6-9 months to remove the hardware, due to this, it limits her ability to work. Grandma is very supportive, and we are grateful for all she does, assisting financially, providing moral support and anything else she can give.
In weeks coming after recovery in addition to the doctor’s visits he will begin physical therapy to strengthen and teach him how to walk. This will be so amazing; he crawls like the wind, but we can’t wait to see him walk across the floor for the first time! A blessing that will be.
Rayden is a strong and very brave little man and speaks his piece as he told the surgeon the day after his surgery to get out of his territory!!! He’s a fighter.
Emotionally our hearts break every time he cries in pain when having to move or change him. For the most part though he has a very good disposition and continues to be his happy self. His two sisters are a great support and very uplifting for him. It’s beautiful to watch them help care for their little brother.
The funds that we may receive will aid in everyday bills, expenses needed to get Rayden to and from his physical therapy, Dr’s appointments and any additional expenses incurred to aid in his recovery.
It would truly be a blessing if you could find it in your hearts to help our family through this very difficult time. Our family would be forever grateful.
