Hi, my name is Ray Hankinson. I am 66 yr old and retired. In 2022 my wife Susan caught Covid and it left her with Heart failure and we nearly lost her. Fortunately with the care from the NHS and meds and pace maker and defib implant she is still with us. It’s my belief that without the research by the BHF I would have lost her years ago, so as a thank you I am doing a fund raiser walk called “ Ray walks the Wanny”. I intend to walk the full length of the river Wansbeck in Northumberland, England keeping the river within eye sight or ear shot as best as possible from sea to source, a distance of 33 mile in a day. please will you help me in making a difference?
