Hello, my name is Mousa Hijazi, I am 26 years old.

I studied Public Relations and Marketing at Palestine University, and I once had big dreams for my future and a stable life. But the war took everything from us… and today our only dream is simply to live with dignity.

I am writing this with a heavy heart and a small hope that our story reaches kind people who can help us.

We are a family of 12 people from Palestine, living in extremely difficult conditions that are hard to describe.

On May 27, 2024, our lives changed completely.

That was the day we were forced to leave our home for the first time in our lives. We left everything behind our house, our memories, and our sense of safety and we didn’t know where we would go.

Today, we are living in a tent…

A tent that does not protect us from the heat or cold, and does not give us any sense of safety.

We sleep on the ground inside it…

And some days, we don’t even have enough food to eat.

Among us is my little sister Nesma (9 years old), who should be living a happy and safe childhood, but instead she is facing fear and hardship every day.

We are struggling daily with:

* Lack of food

* Difficulty accessing clean water

* No electricity or medical care

* Extremely harsh living conditions inside a tent

As the one responsible for my family, the hardest part is feeling helpless when they need me the most.

I never thought I would ask for help, but today I have no other choice.
