Rawdon library needs help to replace the old rotten windows

Donation protected
Rawdon Community Library is more than just a building filled with books – it’s a place where people of all ages come together to read, learn, connect, and belong. Run entirely by dedicated volunteers, our library is at the heart of the community, offering a safe and welcoming space for children, families, and older residents alike.

But right now, our much-loved library needs some urgent help. The windows have become old and worn, and they no longer keep the building warm or energy efficient. Replacing them will not only make the library more comfortable for visitors but will also reduce running costs – ensuring we can keep the doors open for years to come.

As a volunteer-run library, we don’t receive the same funding as council-run services, so we rely on the generosity of our community and supporters to keep going. Every donation, no matter the size, will help us reach our goal of installing new windows and securing the future of Rawdon Community Library.

How you can help:
   •   Donate whatever you can – every pound makes a difference.
   •   Share this page with friends, family, and anyone who loves libraries.
   •   Visit us, get involved, and see the difference your support makes.

Together, we can make sure Rawdon Library remains a warm, safe, and inspiring place for everyone. Thank you so much for supporting your local library.
