Rathvilly is a beautiful village, and keeping it looking its best is something we can all take pride in.

Rathvilly Tidy Towns is made up of volunteers who give their time, energy and commitment to planting flowers, watering and maintaining displays, caring for public areas and helping to keep our village clean, colourful and welcoming.

A lot of the work happens quietly throughout the year, but the results can be seen throughout Rathvilly. From our flower displays and planters to the general upkeep of the village, our volunteers work hard to make Rathvilly a place that residents can be proud to call home and that visitors enjoy coming to.

However, maintaining and improving the village comes with ongoing costs. Plants, flowers, compost, equipment, watering and other materials all require funding. As a voluntary community group, we rely greatly on the generosity of local people, businesses and friends of Rathvilly.
