Rathcormac Community Council are raising 100,000 in 6 months, to help complete the community park and sports hub in our village in north Cork. Funds raised will contribute toward an athletics track, tennis courts, family picnic area, sensory garden, trees shrubs and planting, wedding garden, outdoor exercise machines, complete the public lighting, Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) and seating.

 

This park will provide sorely needed open public space for the people and families who live and work around Rathcormac and its hinterland.

 

Over 700,000 has already been spent by the community with support from Leader, Sports Cap Ireland, Cork Co. Council and TOMAR TRUST.

 

We need a further 100000 in order to leverage grants from central and local government as part of our contribution.

 

The community park is leased and operated by the community from the co. council for the benefit of the thousands of people who live in the Rathcormac area and local hinter land.
