Story House Early Learning Chirnside Park has always prided itself on the strong connections with children, families and going above and beyond to support our families in any way we can.

Currently Shae, the mum of a child in our Toddler Room, is in hospital in a critical condition after suffering sudden and unexpected heart failure, which has placed her in a coma. Shae is a warm, loving, fit and active first-time mum to her daughter Millie, who is nearly two years old, and a devoted wife to Ben. The family is taking things day by day as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.

As a centre, we have been supporting Millie and Ben during this challenging period, and our educators have generously donated a combined $800 in Woolworths vouchers to assist in a practical way.

If your family is in a position to do so, we warmly invite you to make a donation to support the family. Anything you can donate, big or small, would be wonderful. The funds raised will provide the family with some financial support over the coming months, helping them focus on Shae’s recovery without additional worry.
