"Born into War: A Mother’s Plea from Gaza"
The world was collapsing around her when the labor pains began. The air shook with the roar of bombs, the sky rained fire, and the ground trembled with fear. But amidst the darkness, in a broken-down hospital with no electricity, no medicine, and no safe place to rest—Ayla was born.
Her mother, Rasha, had waited seven long years for this moment. Years filled with prayer, pain, and hope.
She dreamed of holding her baby in peace, of dressing her in soft clothes, of hearing laughter instead of screams. But war stole that dream.
Today, Rasha holds her newborn in a tent torn by cold winds. There is no crib, no clean water, no diapers, no milk. Some days, she goes without food just to keep her baby warm. Every night, she listens to the sky, praying the next missile doesn’t fall on them.
She doesn’t ask for luxury. She asks for survival.
“I gave birth during a bombing,” she says through tears. “But my real fear began when I realized I couldn’t protect her—not from hunger, not from cold, not from the silence of the world.”
Rasha’s story is not unique. Thousands of mothers across Gaza are trying to raise newborns in rubble—with no access to food, medicine, or safety.
But you can help.
Your donation can provide formula, diapers, clean water, and shelter for mothers like Rasha. You can be the reason Rasha survives. The reason Rasha holds on to hope.
Please—don’t look away. Give what you can. Hope begins with you.
